Faculty

  • Bae, Sung Chul (Bae, Sung Chul)

  • Associate Professor
  • Multiscale optical imaging in space and time domain, therapeutic applications of lasers
  • Current Research Interests

  • Our research is focused on in-vivo and in-vitro optical imaging techniques for biomedical applications. Particular interests are concerned with the development of an integrated state-of-the-art optical imaging microscopic tool in multiscale at space, time, and statistics domains, which is expected to provide a holistic understanding of complicated biological systems.

    Ongoing Research Topics (selected)
    1. Development of fast 3-D two-photon scanned light sheet fluorescence microscope
    2. Micromachining of polymer film by laser ablation
